The Homeless Strategy & Investment (HSI) Division of the Seattle Human Services Department (HSD) is seeking applications from agencies interested in providing services for American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) homeless individuals.
Approximately $1M is available through this request for proposal (RFP) process from a 2020 City Council Budget Action to specifically support this community; and funding is intended to result in permanent housing exits. $395,000 of the $1M is one-time only (2020) funding, and the remaining $605,000 is expected to be renewed in 2021. In addition, a minimum of $375,000 of the $1M must be used for Rapid Re-Housing. This $375,000 is ongoing funding.
HSD intends to fund between one and four proposals. Initial awards will be made for the period of April 15, 2020 – December 31, 2020. While it is the City’s intention to renew agreements resulting from this funding opportunity on an annual basis through the 2021 program year and possibly beyond, future funding will be contingent upon performance and funding availability.
This is an open and competitive process. For more information, and all RFP materials, please visit HSD’s Funding Opportunities web page: http://www.seattle.gov/humanservices/funding-and-reports/funding-opportunities. Completed application packets are due by 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24, 2020.
