This is a unique partnership among HSD, the Office for Economic Development, the Seattle Jobs Initiative, and grassroots community organizations to help low-income adults of color get the skills and training they need to apply for career-path jobs. The Mayor’s Proposed Budget provides funding for this program. Here’s video of the press conference, which included some inspiring words from community sponsors and participants.
