The Seattle-King County Advisory Council on Aging & Disability Services and The Central (also known as Central Area Senior Center) are hosting “Alzheimer’s 101”, a community health forum featuring Bob LeRoy, executive director of the Alzheimer’s Association of Western and Central Washington. The forum is on Friday, March 14, 2014, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Central, 500 30th Ave. S, Seattle.
Caregivers and family members who want a better understanding of Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia; resources, tools and tips for dementia care; and information about culturally competent care are invited to attend the forum.
