Earlier this month, the Committee to End Homelessness released to the public the Comprehensive Plan to Prevent and End Youth and Young Adult Homelessness in King County. The result of several months of working with community stakeholders, providers, funders and youth and young adults, the comprehensive plan identifies the community’s vision to end homelessness among youth and young adults in King County by 2020 and an 18 month implementation strategy to begin delivering on this vision. The Seattle Human Services Department’s Youth & Family Empowerment Division played a pivotal role in shaping the plan. Read more about the plan here.
